Boogaloos And The Highway 41 Horns are an eight piece dance band with a flavor of soul a wash of Blues and Rock, all with a definatee individualistic approach in their music and 4 big brassy Horns.
Their repertoire covers a diverse range, with classis and forgotton tracks from the 50’s to the 90’s and styles that range from Reggae and Latin beats to Rock and Roll, from Jazz to Jive and from Ballads to Be-Bop all with the Boogaloos individualistic feel, and not just the repetitious cloning of covers.
The band formed in 1990 and played the big scene continuously until going their separate ways in 2000 after 8 years apart, the passion and magic called them back to the fold.
Now since hitting the audiences again the Boogaloos And The Highway 41 Horns pulled not only historically loyal following, but now a new wave of audience that appreciate good dance music and love to be entertained.
As an aggregate, the band draws upon many years of experience and diversity of music in bands such as:- The Drifters, Final Notice, The Blue Heelers, Alexis corner (UK), Max Headroom, Go Go Gators, Rockett 88's, Dirty Pool, Ram Jam, Hound Dogs, The Cadillacs, Papa Ritchie, Blues Mobile, Band of OZ, Kush and numerous other bands that once were.
